Your Guide to this Beautiful Story

News Bulletin

What is this page?
This page will be used so that I can post questions from you guys and my answers. It will also be used for me to keep you guys posted on any new events and ultimately my progress with the blog/challenge.

Questions:
1. What is the "100 Baby Challenge"? The "100 Baby Challenge" is something that some of us "Sims" addicts take part in. It is where we go onto "The Sims 3" (or sometimes any of "The Sims" games.) and we make a female "Sim", usually in the young adult age, and we try to see if they can have 100 children before she turns into an elder.
2.  How come Elizabeth did not get pregnant that first time? I am not actually sure. There was a lullaby but she just never got pregnant. So I actually made her "Try for Baby" again two weeks later, same day as before, and it worked.
3. Is there a way I can download Elizabeth's first house? Actually I downloaded the house from '"The Sims 3" Exchange'. So putting up the house in my "Exchange" would be copying. Of course I did remodel the house and add stuff, to make it baby friendly, but it was still someone else who made the house. It was the "Arts & Crafts Bungalow". The house on there is how the house was when I first downloaded it.
The guy who made the house's page is: HERE
The house is: HERE
 4. How old is Elizabeth exactly? In the game she is a young adult. But I am making her nineteen (At the very beginning of her journey.) in the story. She is young, but she got an early start. She moved out of her parent's house as soon as possible (A.K.A. She was eighteen.). Victoria and Daniel are the same age as Elizabeth. Also her being "so young" helps her with her journey.
5. Where did you get your cribs? I got them from three lots I downloaded in the "Sims Exchange". The lot was just a lot of beds, cribs, and cars among other stuff placed at random. I loved some of the stuff, but a lot of the stuff that I got I deleted. They were not bad "CCs" or Custom Content, but they were very badly designed and had bad graphics. I will post a link, but I could only find one page of the stuff that I downloaded. I do not know which items are on the lot that I did find. I can tell from the picture, though, that most of the cribs that I am using are on there. I would post all the lots in my "Exchange" myself, but I did not create the lots. And I would hate to copy someone else's work.

6. Did Elizabeth really have a child without having to "Try for Baby"? Actually I had to change the active household to Victoria's house so I could work on her family and I forgot that story progression was on. So, when I got back to the Reting's house everything was normal until about three hours (Sim's hours) into the game when Elizabeth got the "Pregnant" moodlet. So from my point of view she had a child without trying for one, she did not even have morning sickness. But common sense tells me that while I was gone Elizabeth and Daniel decided to have a child. Even without me Elizabeth is working towards her goal of the "100 Baby Challenge".
7. How did you make the pond that Elizabeth swam in? I actually found another page with a pond that you could swim in and I was like, "That is AWESOME! I have to use that in one of blogs. So I followed a link that I found on "Google" and it led me to a page from "The Sims 3: Forum" and it had a lot of "How-To's" on it. So it showed me how to make a pond and I used it in Elizabeth's new house.

Working right now on Chapter 9. Sorry it is taking forever, but I have ran into a lot of technical issues.

Funny Moments I Captured While On Elizabeth's Journey:
Cool Books
From Chapter 3: Wedding Bliss. I saw this while taking the picture of Elizabeth and Daniel's kiss at the theater. Sims in my town always do this. I love it. It looks like they are reading some really cool book.
 Gender Confusion
From Chapter 4: Baby #1. When Elizabeth got home from the hospital I had her doing some things and I made Daniel pick Ryan up. I noticed that Ryan was tired so I clicked on him and said "Put Ryan in Crib". Well... Daniel did what I asked, he just put Ryan in the wrong crib.

Kiss A*s Much?
From Chapter 5: Babies #2, 3, and 4. I was taking the photos for when Elizabeth went to find out the gender of her baby when I notice these two in the background. (You can see Elizabeth and Dr. Blueflame in the background of the second picture.)

   A Little Less Then Perfect

From Chapter #6: A Miracle Child and a Broken Heart. These were supposed to be for when Elizabeth was talking to Daniel after going into labor, but Daniel had to go all weird on me. I was loving these photos when I realized that at this angle Daniel appeared to have a huge tumor on his back. So sadly I could not choose these photos.

Mica- The Koala
From Chapter #9: Stolen Goods. I had mentioned that Mica loved Elizabeth and 'clinged' to her, and now I have proof!

Just A Little Further
From Chapter #9: Stolen Goods. Ryan was teaching Mica how to talk when suddenly they became  two feet apart. I figured out later that it was because of those chairs and tables that you see behind him.
